Well it has been nigh on a month since my last update - the issue being that a lie and a deception were in progress in that we were keeping things from our parentals... Now that they are in full and complete awareness of the situation we can shout it aloud from the treetops... well... we can blog again anyway...
ELIZABETH ROSE BYASS IS HOME!!!
How brilliant is that?!
It has been a funny couple of months with daily trips to the hospital and Becca pumping at all times of day and night (in order to feed the girl and give the excess - 25litres - to the Wirral milk bank!) and of course the various hoops that had to be jumped prior to coming home - rooming in (staying the night in hosp to get used to being with E around the clock), recussitation training, Oxygen training and installation at home, setting up all sorts of people to visit us (on a daily basis at first) and vaccines and so on and so forth... Elizabeth also taught her mum and dad how to bath and change and generally respond to her every whim and command which was nice of her!
So home is where we are as a little family once again! Various people have visited including the parents who were somewhat suprised to be greeted by the smallest member fo the family and very pleased to meet and greet her properly. So all in all it has been a busy few weeks and now she is home we can both update our blogs with bits and bobs of note and interest - such as her meeting her little friend Ben... (see below) For more of the interim stuff or if you just want a better blog to view, try Beccas on www.beccabyass.blogspot.com
